Nancy and her boyfriend Rory have just purchased their new home which, in their free time away from work, they are renovating. Nancy works as a freelance cleaner and Rory works as a banker. As they begin to establish a daily routine around their new lives together, Nancy begins to suffer with hideous hallucinations. As these hallucinations become more frequent and intense, Nancy begins to lose consciousness of her reality and turns against her boyfriend, believing that he is the cause of all her hallucinations. In an act of self-defence, Nancy kills the monster in her hallucination - who is revealed to be her boyfriend in reality.
